This recognition is significant as it is the only publication that focuses exclusively on litigation in the U.S.
Partner Travis Barton, who is based in the firm’s Austin office, was recognized as a Local Litigation Star for his work in General Commercial, Intellectual Property and Oil and Gas litigation. Partners Jonathan Baughman and Steve Watkins, who are based in Houston, were recognized as a Local Litigation Stars for their work in Energy, General Commercial and Product Liability litigation, and Energy, Estate, General Commercial and Labor and Employment litigation respectively.
Partner Felicity Fowler, who is based in Dallas, was recognized as a 2019 Labor and Employment Star/Texas for her work in Labor and Employment.
Firms and attorneys included in the guide are chosen following a six-month process in which researchers conduct in-depth interviews with litigators and their clients to identify the most highly respected litigators across geographies and in specific areas of practice. During the interview process, researchers review recent casework handled by firms and garner professional opinions from attorneys on their peers.
