AUSTIN, TEXAS (January 5, 2011) – The law firm McGinnis Lochridge & Kilgore, L.L.P. is pleased to announce that three attorneys, April Lucas, Derrick Price and John Walter Van Schwartzenburg have become partners of the firm.
April Lucas, Austin office, focuses her practice on general litigation. She handles a diverse body of civil matters for both plaintiffs and defendants, representing clients in commercial disputes. She earned a B.A. from Texas A&M University and a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law.
Derrick Price, Austin office, handles a wide variety of civil matters for both plaintiffs and defendants and assists in the trial of cases for clients in the oil industry and health law arenas. Derrick has been named to the 2011 Texas Rising Stars list, a Thomas Reuters service, in energy & natural resources (2009-2010). He earned a B.A. from the University of Texas and J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center.
John Walter Van Schwartzenburg, Houston office, focuses his practice on representing clients engaged in conventional and renewable electrical power, natural gas pipeline, and other infrastructure businesses and related engineering, manufacturing and construction fields. He earned a B.A. from Louisiana State University and J.D. from Tulane University Law School.
