We have represented companies engaged in surface mining for coal and uranium and extraction of lignite, sand, gravel, granite, and clay. We represent operators in solution mining and in the operation of underground hydrocarbon storage facilities. Our work includes mineral title examination, mineral leasing, and litigation over ownership. We have obtained mining permits, and we represent mining interests before the General Land Office, the Comptroller, the Railroad Commission, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, the Texas Department of Health, and other state agencies involved in regulation of natural resources in Texas. We have negotiated, arbitrated, and litigated fuel supply contracts. We have also represented mining interests before the Texas Legislature.
