Overview
Kyle is an Associate in the Labor & Employment practice group. He focuses his practice on litigation matters, assisting clients with all phases of the litigation process.
Kyle earned his J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law, where he served as Articles Editor of the SMU Science and Technology Law Review and was inducted into the National Order of Barristers for excellence in oral advocacy. He was also a member of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot team from 2023 to 2025, gaining experience in international dispute resolution.
Prior to joining McGinnis Lochridge, Kyle gained hands-on litigation experience as a law clerk at Allen Bryson Lamar, PLLC, where he prepared petitions, discovery requests, motions for summary judgment, and settlement agreements. He also served as a legal extern at Caterpillar Inc., where he supported in-house counsel on contract review, regulatory compliance, and international business matters. During the summer of 2024, Kyle clerked at Curnutt & Hafer, LLP, conducting legal research and drafting pleadings on a range of civil matters. Kyle also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Renée Harris Toliver of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, where he analyzed case filings and drafted judicial opinions.
Kyle received his B.A. in Government with a minor in Philosophy of Law from The University of Texas at Austin.
