Job Summary:
The Corporate Associate will preferably have between 1 and 3 years of prior corporate legal experience, with a law firm, and will be a member of the Firm’s Corporate practice group. This is a full-time position and may be in either the Austin office or Houston office. Partnership track position. Responsibilities of the position will include supporting corporate practice group; advising clients on corporate governance and structure matters; negotiating and drafting company agreements, partnership agreements, and other corporate documents; and handling M&A transactions, private placement and bank financings, and private investments. Compensation will be commensurate with relevant experience.
Requirements:
- Licensed in the State of Texas
- Relevant law firm corporate practice group experience
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Strong research and writing skills
- Professional, tactful, honest, respectful, courteous, proactive, cooperative, and positive client-centric attitude that embraces diversity and inclusion
