Overview
Jessica focuses her practice on representing employers in all facets of employment law, including litigation, arbitrations, injunctive relief, administrative proceedings, counseling, and trainings. During law school at SMU Law, Jessica focused on developing her skills in advocacy, motion drafting, and case strategy. Her practical experience includes arguing a motion before U.S. Magistrate Judge Kimberly Priest Johnson of the Eastern District of Texas, drafting a writ of mandamus to the Court of Appeals for the Fifth District of Texas at Dallas, representing SMU on the Administrative Law moot court team, serving as a mentor to first-year law students, and practicing as a “Student Attorney” at SMU Law’s Hunter Clinic for Victims of Crimes Against Women. In addition to employment law and litigation, Jessica has experience in other legal fields including real estate and construction law and medical malpractice litigation.
