Overview
Rachel Reinbolt represents employers in discrimination, retaliation, harassment and wage and hour matters, and joins the firm with two published Houston Law Review notes.
Rachel is an associate in the Labor & Employment practice group, where she represents employers to prevent, manage, and resolve workplace disputes. Her work spans litigation, administrative matters, and everyday guidance across a range of employment issues, including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, accommodations, wage and hour compliance, leave administration, and workplace investigations.
As a summer associate in the firm's Dallas office, she researched wage and hour law across several states for client compliance work and drafted pretrial motions in discrimination and wage and hour cases. Before that, she worked in the University of Houston's Office of the General Counsel, researching employment discrimination and worker classification questions for the University and training its employees on the Americans with Disabilities Act and workplace accommodations.
While in law school, Rachel served as the Chief Notes and Comments Editor of the Houston Law Review. She published two student notes: one on whether a felony conviction should limit eligibility for public office, which was featured on SiriusXM's POTUS Politics Channel, and one on whether the constitutional interpretation of the Cruel and Unusual Punishment Clause has an effect on the homeless, which was named the best submission of the Law Review's 2024 Write-On Competition.
She earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center, and her B.A. in Political Science, summa cum laude, from the University of Houston.
