McGinnis Lochridge is pleased to announce energy litigator Seth Isgur has joined the firm’s Houston office.  Isgur was previously a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright.

“Seth brings an extraordinary amount of depth and knowledge to our oil and gas practice group as well as our Houston office. We are looking forward to Seth joining our team,” said Houston partner-in-charge Jonathan Baughman.

Isgur spent 15 years at his previous firm and was a partner in the Energy Litigation Group.  He was also the head of the firm’s Eminent Domain Group, generally representing condemnors (including pipeline companies and government entities) and chairing over 70 special commissioner meetings across Texas.

“For the firm as a whole, Seth’s arrival adds significantly to what we can offer our energy clients, said Doug Dodds, Managing Partner. “We are thrilled to have him on board.”

Isgur attended the University of Texas (UT), graduating with a BBA in accounting and an MPA in taxation (he is also a certified public accountant) before earning his JD from UT School of Law.
