McGinnis Lochridge is excited to welcome Melanie Cruthirds to the firm's Litigation and Oil & Gas practice groups.
Cruthirds represents clients across a range of litigation matters, with a focus on disputes arising from commercial contracts and leases, corporate governance, and employment relationships. Her practice reflects the firm's core strengths, spanning commercial litigation, energy, and labor and employment matters.
Cruthirds is a member of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Pathfinder Class of 2025. She is active in the Houston legal community through her involvement with the Houston Bar Association, Houston Young Lawyers Association, Houston Association of Women Attorneys, and the Texas Association of Defense Counsel.
Cruthirds earned her J.D. from South Texas College of Law, graduating magna cum laude, and her undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University, also magna cum laude. We are thrilled to have her on the team.
