Rippy brings more than two decades of experience advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, energy project development and finance, and technology and licensing agreements.

Rippy has served as lead project counsel on the development and financing of power generation assets across Latin America, Asia, and Africa. His transactional experience encompasses natural gas, coal, renewable, hydroelectric, and geothermal power projects. His Latin American practice was conducted in both English and Spanish, reflecting his bilingual capabilities.

In addition to his transactional work, Rippy has served as General Counsel or Chief Legal Officer for multiple companies in the energy, technology, and investment management sectors, giving him a practical, business-oriented perspective that informs his client counsel. Rippy also brings entrepreneurial experience to the firm, having founded YogaOne Studios and grown it into the largest yoga studio chain in Houston before selling it to a publicly traded company in 2017.
