AUSTIN – Nelia Robbi, a Partner at McGinnis Lochridge, has been named by Texas Lawyer as Appellate Lawyer of The Week for her work to affirm the personal jurisdiction principle that Texas courts will hear disputes involving nonresidents who fail to provide satisfactory products and services to Texas businesses.

Robbi, who represents McCoy-Rockford, a Texas company, argued before the Third Court of Appeals in Austin that the district court’s recognition of Personal Jurisdiction and denial of a Special Appearance should be upheld and that the appeal filed by the by the defendant, Industrial Product Formulators of America, Inc., a California based company, should be denied.
