McGinnis Lochridge is pleased to welcome Sheyla Rodman as an associate in the firm’s Litigation group in Austin. Sheyla represents individuals and businesses in a broad range of disputes, including contract, personal injury, business tort and real estate matters.
Sheyla joins the firm after two summers as a summer associate, during which she researched legal issues, drafted responses to motions and participated in depositions, hearings and client meetings. In the spring of 2026, she served as a judicial intern to the Honorable David A. Ezra of the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, gaining valuable insight into litigation from the court’s perspective.
Sheyla earned her J.D. with honors from The University of Texas School of Law, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as a member of the Texas Law Review and Assistant Conference Editor of the Texas Journal on Civil Liberties and Civil Rights. She was also a student member of the Lloyd Lochridge American Inn of Court.
Sheyla earned her B.A. in Government and Plan II Honors, magna cum laude, from The University of Texas at Austin, where she was recognized as a Plan II Honors Distinguished Graduate.
McGinnis Lochridge is excited to welcome Sheyla to the firm and looks forward to her contributions to the Litigation group.
