AUSTIN, TEXAS (January 2015) -- McGinnis Lochridge is pleased to announce that Rachael Padgett, Nick Laurent and Eric Johnston have become partners in the firm.
Eric Johnston represents clients in a variety of practice areas with a primary focus on complex business litigation, products liability, and employment law. His cases include employment discrimination claims, contractual claims, and constitutional violations claims. Additionally, he has experience defending products liability actions on behalf of pharmaceutical and medical devise clients and personal injury actions as well as experience handling creditor's rights and bankruptcy issues.
Nick Laurent focuses his practice on general civil litigation in state and federal courts in a variety of practice areas, including business, oil and gas disputes, and condemnation/eminent domain matters. Nick has actively represented the firm’s clients in all aspects of litigation, from pre-suit investigations through final judgment or settlement.
Rachael Padgett focuses her practice on the areas of healthcare and employment law. In her healthcare practice, she represents institutions and individual clients in regulatory, transactional and dispute resolution matters including litigation and administrative proceedings. Rachael advises clients regarding employee issues, including personnel issues, discrimination and administrative Appeals before the Texas Workforce Commission.
