Overview

Mitch Chaney has tried scores of high exposure cases to verdict in some of the most challenging jurisdictions in America. His practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation. His career, spanning over 30 years, includes trying cases on both sides of the docket at the federal and state level for leading manufacturers of automotive products, ATVs, firearms and other product liability cases in Texas. Additionally, Mitch has tried railroad crossing cases, FELA cases and legal malpractice cases on the defense side. Further, he has tried criminal and intellectual property cases. Before joining McGinnis Lochridge, he was a partner in his own firm in Brownsville, Texas and was the managing partner of that firm from 2009-2015.

Mitch also helps teach a skills workshop every year at his alma mater, the University of Kansas School of Law.
